Dr. agr. Marco Bertaglia, from the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission in Ispra (Varese), provides a contribution on Elementary Farming by Gian Carlo Cappello.
Marco Bertaglia è un ricercatore interdisciplinare nelle scienze della sostenibilità sociale e ambientale. Si occupa di agroecologia, di servizi ecosistemici, di suolo e di sostenibilità delle risorse da oltre trent’anni. Si laurea all’Università di Torino nel 1997 in Scienze forestali e ambientali. Nel 2000 consegue un Master in Scienze e Gestione dell’ambiente all’Université catholique de Louvain, Belgio, con una tesina sulle acque reflue domestiche, e, nel 2004, un Dottorato di ricerca all’Università di Kiel, Germania. Dall’aprile 2012 lavora a Ispra, alla Direzione Risorse sostenibili, Centro comune di ricerca, Commissione europea. E’ formatore certificato dal Centro Internazionale di Comunicazione Nonviolenta (CNV). Attivista, portavoce e coordinatore nazionale in Italia del movimento ambientalista Extinction Rebellion. Ha fondato nel 2021 l’associazione “Comunità rigenerative”.
